You will be please to hear that we have been able to recruit a new Co-ordinator for wbiln. The role will be filled by Debbie Sowerby who some of you may know. Debbie has been involved in the disability movement since the 1990's and brings with her massive experience in working with and for disabled people and ULO's and we are sure she can build on the fantastic work Sharon has done for us since wbiln came about in 2010. Debbie starts work on Monday and will be working alongside Sharon in her final week and I'm sure is looking forward to meeting you all.

New Police Non-Emergency number - 101

You will no doubt have heard about this by now, but it’s worth repeating it.  The old 0845 non-emergency number to contact Thames Valley Police has been replaced with a new easy-to-remember 3-digit number.  If you need to contact the Police for any reason other than a real emergency, you can dial 101 from any phone, mobile or landline, for a fixed cost of 15p, regardless of how long you are on the phone.

It works in West Berkshire now. For more information, go here: http://www.police.uk/101
